Landed Permanent Residence (LPR) Eligibility

Before we go to the procedure, we will discuss what is the eligibility to apply for LPR?
  1. You must hold a tertiary education qualification.
You have to hold at least Bachelor Degree from reputable university in your country. Sorry for Diploma holder, you are not eligible to apply, but you can pursue your Bachelor Degree first and apply for LPR.

  2. You are not more than 50 years of age.
Singapore needs a young and productive workforce, so you have to be less than 50 to be eligible to apply. If you are more than 50, and you have your kids graduated, you can apply LPR for your kids, and once your kids get LPR approved, and find a job, he/she can apply Long Term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP) for their parents.

  3. You are not working in Singapore
This is the most fundamental requirement, you are not allowed to work in Singapore when you apply for LPR. If you are currently working under working visa, you are not allowed to apply LPR, but you are allowed to apply PR after at least 6 months of work.
